The clocks are calibrated at different times, 10, 20, 30 seconds apart, sometimes more.
Depending on the quality of the clocks, a gradual musical form is randomly created. The performer is at the same time a member of the audience, observing the clocks, and an actor as he may intervene on the bells, by stopping or triggering them.
